My name is Rachel Bloom I grew up in Clearfield Pennsylvania.  I have a brother and 2 step brothers. I was in Agriculture classes in high school. In High School I was also in band and choir. After graduating high school, I obtained my Associate degree in Wildlife Technology. I was an intern at the Benezette Elk Country visitors center. I’m an avid bird watcher and I also have experience in bird banding.

I am now a student at The Pennsylvania State University and I am going for my Bachelor’s in Agriculture and Extension Education. I will be student teaching in the Spring Semester of 2019.

                                             

In the future I hope to further my knowledge in teaching agriculture and I hope to grow as a person throughout my student teaching experience. After I graduate I want to either become a high school Agriculture teacher, or teach environmental education at a park somewhere. This blog is so people can follow me on my #TeachAg journey.
