All along my Teach Ag journey there are a lot of opportunities that arise. I had the opportunity this past weekend to attend the TLT Symposium at the Penn Stater. This was an amazing experience for me and the Keynote speaker, Stephen Dubner was remarkable! He started off right away relating agriculture to his talk, giving a shout out to Norman Borlaug the founder of the green revolution. I think he was very interesting to listen to, linked below I have a small talk from him. Later I learned at a workshop about infographics. in that workshop I was given the really awesome idea to use infographics to create a syllabus. This symposium made me wonder just how I am going to use technology in the classroom.

ReplyDeleteSome suggestions as we "up" our blogging game:
1) Come see me to learn how to embed YouTube Videos(or other HTMLs) into your blog post.
2) Remember the importance of using visuals to tell the story.
3) Always think about digging deeper to clearly indicate how this experience/post is impacting your teacher identity.
This post would not be "descriptive enough" to pass muster in the Fall!
